KATE DUFFY

Kate Duffy is a stock that is about to go off the charts. Buy Kate Duffy now before you regret it. It's a metaphor of course but I feel so lucky to have reached out to her a couple years ago to see if she could help me level up my facilitator game. We grew up in the same town a million years ago but, wow, had Kate accomplished a lot since I saw her last.

 

Kate is a Los Angeles-based actor and writer. She is an alumnus of the Second City Chicago and has starred in a number of independent features and television series. Kate has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, written for Netflix shows and was recently a finalist on the Big Break Screenwriting contest with "Apology Tour" which has been optioned by ABC Studios.

 

Since 2005, Duffy has lead Business Improv programs at Duke, UCLA, Columbia, Google, Amgen, Glaxo Smith Kline among many other leading educational institutions and Fortune 500 companies.

She is a creative and passionate coach, keynote speaker, facilitator, and storyteller.

 

Believing strongly in how we show up matters and no matter where we are in our career we have opportunity to grow, Kate takes a practical, not academic approach to her coaching and is often described by her clients as “an energy tour de force.”

 

Kate got her start as a consultant, managing customer-facing teams, both dotted and direct line reports, in a highly matrixed organization, so she understands first hand the challenges people are up against.
